Hanking Microelectronics Delegation Attends WAIC 2026

On 19 July, Yang Min, Chairwoman of Hanking Group and Hanking Microelectronics, led a management and technical delegation from Hanking Microelectronics to Zhangjiang Science Hall in Shanghai for activities held as part of the 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC) and a tour of the exhibition. The delegation included Hanking Microelectronics President Huang Xiangxiang, Chief Scientist Huang Yiqun and Assistant to the Chairwoman Kong Xianglei.
The 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference was held in Shanghai from 17 to 20 July under the theme “Intelligent Partners, Shaping the Future Together.” The conference showcased emerging technologies, products and applications in artificial intelligence, bringing together experts, scholars, business representatives and innovation teams from China and abroad to discuss the future of AI development and industrial application.
During the visit, Chairwoman Yang and the delegation toured exhibition areas at Zhangjiang Science Hall to learn about the latest developments in artificial intelligence, computing chips, advanced manufacturing and microelectronics. They also exchanged views with industry professionals on the integrated application of AI technologies in the microelectronics sector.
In line with the development priorities of Hanking Microelectronics, the delegation focused on three areas.
The first was computing power and chip technology. As AI applications continue to accelerate, the market is placing increasingly demanding requirements on chip computing performance, energy efficiency and integration. The delegation examined development trends in domestically developed computing chips, low-power AI inference and related chip technologies, gaining a deeper understanding of the direction in which the industry is evolving.
The second was the integration of artificial intelligence with advanced manufacturing. AI technologies are increasingly being applied to semiconductor manufacturing, precision inspection, production-process optimisation and product-quality improvement. These applications offer new approaches for microelectronics companies seeking to improve R&D efficiency, enhance production management and strengthen product competitiveness.
The third was innovation in microelectronics. Through the exhibition visit, the delegation gained further insight into the work of Chinese microelectronics companies in technology development, product innovation and industrial application, as well as a more direct understanding of current industry trends and market demand.
During the tour, Chairwoman Yang held in-depth discussions with the team on industry trends, technology directions and the future development of the company, drawing on the progress of Hanking Microelectronics. She noted that the rapid growth of the AI industry is creating new market opportunities and development potential for the microelectronics sector. The direction chosen by Hanking Microelectronics is aligned with the evolution of the industry, and the company is now at an important stage in further clarifying its positioning, strengthening its capabilities and accelerating development.
Chairwoman Yang stressed that, in a rapidly changing technological and market environment, companies must remain alert to developments at the industry frontier while staying grounded in their own capabilities. Resources should be concentrated on technology R&D, product development and market expansion. Hanking Microelectronics should also strengthen exchanges and cooperation with research institutions, industry partners, and upstream and downstream companies to continuously enhance its technological strength and industrialisation capabilities.
Participation in WAIC 2026 gave the delegation a deeper understanding of the latest trends in artificial intelligence and microelectronics and further strengthened its confidence in Hanking Microelectronics’ continued commitment to these fields. Looking ahead, Hanking Microelectronics will build on its technological and industrial foundations, closely follow changes in market demand and technology, steadily advance product development and business expansion, and continuously enhance its core competitiveness, creating new momentum for the growth of Hanking Group’s emerging industries.
