Hanking Group conducts its Australian gold-resource business through Hanking Gold International Limited (stock code: 03788.HK), which was listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on 30 September 2011. Project development and operations in Australia are managed by a professional team headquartered in Perth.
Since establishing its Australian team in 2010, Hanking Australia has invested in and operated a number of gold projects. It completed the full development cycle of the Southern Cross Gold Operations—from acquisition and resource exploration to the resumption of production and an eventual capital exit. This experience has established a local team with integrated capabilities spanning geological exploration, feasibility studies, engineering and construction, mine operations and capital management.
The Australian gold business is currently centred on the Mt Bundy and Cygnet projects in the Northern Territory and Western Australia, respectively. According to public information released by Hanking Gold International, the two projects together contain approximately 5.54 million ounces of JORC-compliant gold resources and approximately 2.62 million ounces of gold reserves, forming the company’s core resource base for long-term growth.
The Mt Bundy Gold Project is located approximately 100 kilometres southeast of Darwin in Australia’s Northern Territory. It comprises the Rustlers Roost and Quest 29 open-pit deposits and the Tom’s Gully underground deposit. Close to the Port of Darwin and regional transport infrastructure, the project is planned as an integrated development of open-pit and underground resources supported by a central processing plant and associated production facilities.
Mt Bundy contains approximately 3.47 million ounces of gold resources and approximately 1.89 million ounces of gold reserves. The project obtained the principal environmental approvals for gold-mine development in 2023. Its Mining Management Plan was approved and mining authorisation granted in April 2026; construction of the Mt Bundy processing plant commenced in August 2026, marking the project’s transition from engineering preparation to substantive construction.

The Cygnet Gold Project is located in the Southern Cross region of Western Australia, approximately 360 kilometres east of Perth. It principally comprises the Copperhead and Golden Pig underground areas and the Corinthia open-pit area. The project is situated within an established mining region with access to supporting roads, power infrastructure and mining services.
Hanking Gold International acquired a controlling interest in the Cygnet project in 2023, increased its interest to 93.37% in 2024, and acquired the remaining minority interest in 2025 to obtain full ownership of the project company. Cygnet contains approximately 2.07 million ounces of gold resources and approximately 0.73 million ounces of gold reserves. Resource expansion, drilling verification and optimisation of the development plan are continuing.

Mt Bundy is focused on construction and development readiness, while Cygnet is focused on resource expansion and development studies, creating a staged Australian gold-project portfolio. Hanking Australia will continue to draw on its professional local team, international mining-management experience and listed-company platform to translate resource value steadily into long-term operating capacity.
Project resources, reserves and construction progress are subject to continuing updates. Please refer to the latest announcements and official website disclosures of Hanking Gold International Limited for current information.
