Hanking Group originated in Fushun, Liaoning Province. Drawing on the region’s iron ore resources and decades of operating experience, the Group developed integrated capabilities in exploration, mine development, extraction, processing and high-grade iron concentrate production.
The Fushun iron ore business comprises the Group’s related iron ore resources together with the iron ore operations held by its listed company. The operating entities perform complementary roles in resource development, production organisation and the integration of mining and beneficiation, jointly supporting a stable and coordinated iron ore business in the Fushun area.
The Fushun iron ore resources are located in the Anshan–Benxi metallogenic belt and benefit from favourable ore characteristics. Through continuous optimisation of beneficiation processes, the iron concentrate produced is high grade and low in impurities such as sulphur, phosphorus and titanium, making it a high-quality raw material for downstream smelting and advanced casting.
The Majuncheng Iron Mine is one of the Group’s principal iron ore resources in Fushun. It is primarily responsible for resource development and works in coordination with regional beneficiation facilities. The Group is committed to lawful, compliant, green and safe resource development and continues to strengthen its mining infrastructure and resource-security capabilities.
The listed company’s iron ore operations are principally conducted through Aoniu Mining, Maogong Mining and Fushun Shangma, comprising the Aoniu, Maogong and Shangma iron mines. After years of development, these operations have established a specialised system extending from mineral resources through mining and beneficiation.
The Maogong Iron Mine and its associated beneficiation facilities are important components of the Fushun mining and processing system. Ongoing process upgrades, production-system optimisation and smart-mine development continue to improve operating efficiency, resource utilisation and the consistency of product quality.
The Aoniu Iron Mine continues to advance green-mine development and technological innovation and has accumulated extensive experience in safety and environmental protection, comprehensive resource utilisation and production management. The Shangma Iron Mine has a sound resource base and supports resource continuity and coordinated development across the Fushun iron ore business.
Centred on high-grade, low-impurity iron concentrate, the Fushun iron ore business continues to strengthen cost control, quality management and mining-beneficiation coordination. It also maintains industrial links with the Group’s iron-based materials and related manufacturing operations, supplying customers with stable, high-quality mineral raw materials.
