Green Life, Green Consumption

In a shiny morning, a group of lovely children visited Fushun Hanking Shopping Mall.
The students from Bei Tai Primary School, led by Ms. Liu, the teacher in charge of the class, visited the supermarket of Hanking Shopping Mall for an on site educational class.
June 5 is the 34th World Environment Day. Ms. Liu showed them around the supermarket and told the students that the earth was polluted and our environment got worse and worse. Though we could not treat the water or plant a forest, or directly protect animals and plants, we could pay more attention to our life style and form the good habit of green consumption, so as to contribute for environmental protection.
For example, we could try our best to purchase the commodities in large packages instead of small ones, which is recoverable and degradable. Also, we could use the detergent that contains no phosphorus, in order not to pollute the water.
“This is a significant class, since an educator shall not only impart the knowledge in the books, but also the know-how in daily life and help the children to develop their social responsibilities” said Ms. Liu.
