China Hanking Holdings Limited (Stock Code: 03788) was successfully listed on the Main Board of the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong (SEHK) on September 30, 2011.
China Hanking Holdings Limited is one of the largest iron ore concentrate producers in northeast China with main businesses covering exploration, mining and processing. Through years of rapid development, it has built up an international management and technical team, owning five iron mines in Fushun and Benxi. The company’s headquarters is at the heart of Shenyang economic circle with vast potential for future growth.

Aoniu Mine is an important subsidiary mine of Hanking Holdings integrating mining and processing, which is located in Fushun, Liaoning, sits in beautiful Hou’an Town and is adjacent to the “Three Stones” national forest park. The mine was initially constructed in 1992 and expanded twice to become a modern mine with over 500 employees.
Aoniu Mine pays attention to innovation and has achieved a historically low level of consumption in electricity and energy in terms of production of per ton concentrates. Aoniu employs state-of-the-art architecture for High-Pressure Grinding (HPG) technology in a new production line, which has significantly improved productivity of iron ore processing and the quality of iron ore concentrates, having an average grade of 66%.

Maogong Mine, located in Fushun County, Liaoning Province, within a nice natural environment. The mine was put into operation in 1994, and hosts high-quality iron ores featured with course grains that can be readily ground. Hence the cash cost in the Maogong mine is the lowest among Hanking’s major operating mines.
Maogong Mine owns three slopes and two processing plant after years of expansion, upgrading and technology innovation. Maogong Mine employs magnetic processing, and has been most productive, low cost and most profitable mines in the area.
In 2011, Maogong Iron Mine has made a new discovery of a large iron ore body by conducting resource explorations in respect of an iron ore mine located in Maogong Village, Shiwen Town, Fushun, Liaoning Province, China. Moreover, the increase in estimated resources in Maogong Iron Mine has been confirmed by the Liaoning Provincial Mineral Resource Assessment Centre and the approved filing certificate was issued by Liaoning Provincial Department of Land & Resources. Thus Maogong Iron Mine has significantly elevated its resources base. The Company plans to build a processing plant of Maogong Iron Mine with an annual processing capacity of 3 million tons. The plant will also make use of new technologies in order to reach a high level of automation and finally realize a recycling economy.

Located in the Dongzhou District of Fushun, Liaoning Province, the Fushun Hanking Xingzhou Mining Co., Ltd. was set up in 2003. It is the single iron mine with the largest iron ore reserves in Fushun. Focusing on leading iron ore mining and concentrating technology and techniques, the mine was constructed to meet the highest international standards. It will soon implement large scale underground trackless mechanical mining, automatic ore concentration management and become the first modern and digitally-controlled iron mine in Hanking Mining.

Benxi mine, located in Benxi, Liaoning Province, surrounded by mountains with the Taizi River wandering along its foot, is one of our major mines that host huge iron reserves.
The procedure employed in the Benxi Mine is the most advanced in the industry, such as rubber belt vacuum filtering used in early 2010, and dry emission in the tailing treatment, which maximize recycling of water resources and significantly reduces risks in the safety management of the tailing dams. Benxi Mine will soon convert to underground mining instead of open pit mining.

|The Shangma Mine is situated in the border of Fushun County, Fushun, Liaoning Province and is just located mid-way between the Aoniu iron ore mine and Xingzhou iron ore mine of the Company. It can act as a hub of the Aoniu iron ore mine and Xingzhou iron ore mine. The Shangma Mine has considerable iron ore reserves and its filed iron ore resource was 12 million tons as at 31 May 2012. The Shangma Mine has two mine processing plants with a total capacity of processing 1.42 million tons of iron ore and producing 300,000 to 400,000 tons of iron ore concentrates per annum. |
