Besides mining, the Group also invested selectively in non-mining industries. In 2001, Fushun Department Store was renamed Hanking Department Store after the Group invested RMB 140 million to acquire its property and relevant right to the use of the land. The Group also entered into Shenyang, the commercial center of Liaoning province. In July 2004, the Group signed an agreement for structural transformation & activation of Shenyang North Trade Building, then formed Shenyang Hanking Department Store Co., Ltd. In November 2005, Hanking Department Store 0101 Fashion Town started its business.
